“Dost thou love life? Then do not squander time, for that is the stuff life is made of.” —Benjamin Franklin

Benjamin Franklin had it right. And in a sense, the concept he expressed so eloquently is also the foundation of our work on Office 365. Office 365 is about productivity, and productivity is about helping you save time and spend more of your life on the things that matter most to you.

Recently, we made some key improvements to Clutter, which keeps your email inbox organized and allows you to stay focused on what’s important. People who use Clutter save 82 minutes per month on average. Starting in June, Clutter will be turned on by default, which will enable even more people to use it to save time. In addition, thanks to a new Office 365 update, Outlook Web App now lets you save attachments you’ve received in email directly to your OneDrive for Business folder, and you can easily share files stored in the cloud without first having to leave your inbox and navigate to OneDrive.

Over the past couple of weeks, we also continued to extend mobility across multiple platforms and devices by making the Office for Android phone preview available. In addition, we added significant features to OneNote. You can now search your handwritten notes on OneNote, just as you would search typed text and text within images. We also released OneNote for Apple Watch to help you access all of your content when you’re on the go, and we improved OneNote for iPad to make it easier for you to organize your notebooks. Finally, we added an audio recording feature to OneNote for Mac, provided the ability to view mathematical equations created in OneNote for Windows, and made it possible to recover notes you may have deleted accidentally.

Benjamin Franklin also said: “A penny saved is a penny earned.” The same is true of the minutes, hours and days of your life. Use Office 365 to be more productive and efficient on work ranging from routine tasks to complex projects—and take control of your life.
