Microsoft 365 Message center provided updates on various Microsoft services and features.
Major updates include new forwarding loop components and message forwarding in Microsoft Teams, retiring support for.
FBX and SKP file formats, and deprecating certain cmdlets in the Teams PowerShell Module.
Microsoft 365 Message center announced the retirement of Viva Goals by December 31, 2025, and the switch to new Outlook for Windows starting April 2026.
New features include Org Explorer in Outlook, real-time calendar notifications in Teams, and enhanced transcription and caption features for Teams events.
Microsoft 365 Copilot will introduce personalized meeting summaries in Outlook and improved Context IQ menu for Business Chat.
SharePoint eSignature is expanding to Australia Pacific, and Outlook for iOS will support CryptoTokenKit for SMIME.
Microsoft Teams will have customizable notification locations and automatic association of peripherals in BYOD rooms.
Important dates include the start of various rollouts in January 2025 and the end of support for Android device administrator on devices with GMS access after December 31, 2024.
