This is the 399th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Microsoft 365 Message center provided updates on various Microsoft services from January 20, 2025, to January 26, 2025.

Major updates include web links in Outlook opening side-by-side with email in Edge, passkeys in Microsoft Authenticator, and deprecation of WSUS driver synchronization.

Copilot in Microsoft 365 will support multiple accounts, and Org Explorer will visualize company structure in Outlook.

Microsoft Graph API will require passcodes for meetings, and Microsoft Purview will add a new user department graph.

Teams updates include brand impersonation protection, improved meeting experiences on Safari and Firefox, and new recording and transcription policies.

Outlook will introduce features to see who is in the office and add shared folders to Favorites.

Microsoft Loop will have new management features, and Defender for Office 365 will allow third-party add-in reports.

Copilot in Edge will add page summarization, and Teams will extend file open preferences to more apps.

Intune admin center will have a UI update, and Teams will allow private moderator replies and flexible frontline team deployment.

Power Apps will introduce smart paste for forms and support for existing tables in data visualization.

Microsoft Forms will require migration to a new data sync solution, and Lists will offer an admin control to hide real-time collaborators.

Important dates include deprecation of WSUS driver synchronization on April 18, 2025, and various feature rollouts from January to May 2025.

Quickly access relevant information and functionality from the new home page—The home page has been redesigned with you and your most common tasks in mind—such as adding a user or resetting a password. The new admin center makes these items accessible directly from the home page. The home page also proactively surfaces information important to you, such as notifications from the Message Center.
