In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

 

This is the 409th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Microsoft 365 Message center provided a weekly digest of Microsoft service updates from March 31, 2025, to April 6, 2025.

Major updates include changes to DNS provisioning, new policies for voice and face enrollment in Microsoft Teams, and the removal of certain OneDrive group policies.

Microsoft Teams will introduce new features such as forwarding app cards, real-time notes with a Facilitator agent, and performance improvements for meetings in Chrome and Edge browsers.

Microsoft Loop will support Multi-Geo for shared workspaces, and Microsoft OneDrive will remove the “EnableHoldTheFile” group policy.

Microsoft Outlook will add functionality to improve email drafts with Copilot and allow offline access to attachments.

Microsoft Purview will transition generative AI capabilities to a paid public preview.

Microsoft Teams admin center will introduce app-centric management for app installation and changes to app setup policies.

Microsoft Viva Engage app will be renamed to “Engage” in app stores.

Additional updates include changes to plan visibility in Planner and Project for the Web, new location sharing settings for emergency calls, and updates to Microsoft Lists forms in SharePoint Online.


This Weekly digest is intended to reach the Administrators of Microsoft Office 365 within the latest changes that are happening to Office 365.

Quickly access relevant information and functionality from the new home page—The home page has been redesigned with you and your most common tasks in mind—such as adding a user or resetting a password. The new admin center makes these items accessible directly from the home page. The home page also proactively surfaces information important to you, such as notifications from the Message Center.
