In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

This is the 435th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Resume “Summary” from Microsoft 365 Copilot:

Microsoft 365 Message center announced major retirements and transitions: SharePoint Framework domain isolated web parts, SharePoint Add-Ins, Azure ACS, and SharePoint 2013 workflows will all retire by April 2, 2026, requiring migrations to supported alternatives before then.

Key product updates include new features and enhancements for Microsoft 365 Copilot, Teams, Outlook, Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Windows 11, with many features rolling out between October 2025 and January 2026.

Important deadlines: Outlook for Android will require Android 10+ from January 5, 2026; Intune guided scenarios (except Windows 365 Boot) will be removed January 2026; Viva Engage email domains migrate starting October 6, 2025, with coexistence until Q1 2026.

Security and compliance improvements include new Microsoft Defender for Endpoint recommendations, Teams trust indicators, expanded app security info, and Purview eDiscovery metadata enhancements.

Admins are advised to review and update policies, prepare for domain and API retirements, update documentation, and notify users about changes; some features require admin enablement or configuration, while others roll out automatically.

Several features have postponed rollout dates or were canceled, such as Power Automate custom action names and Viva Connections cards in SharePoint agents.
