In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

 

This is the 402th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Microsoft 365 Message center provided a weekly digest of Microsoft service updates from February 10, 2025, to February 16, 2025.

Major updates include the retirement of Alerts Policy cmdlets in Microsoft Purview Audit, starting March 24, 2025, and the rejection of multiple From addresses without a Sender header in Exchange Online, starting February 3, 2025.

New services and features include Org Explorer in Outlook, Whiteboard migration to OneDrive, and full enforcement mode for certificate-based authentication on Windows DCs.

Microsoft Teams updates include the ability to forward messages with app cards, access chats while sharing a screen, wired headset support for the Walkie Talkie app on iOS, and hiding inactive channels.

Microsoft Purview updates include the retirement of the classic eDiscovery experience, new compromised user context in Microsoft Entra, and policy tuning analysis for priority content policies.

Microsoft Outlook updates include choosing fonts while composing emails on iOS and Android, and new calendar features to see who is in the office.

Other updates include enhancements to Microsoft Lists forms, new features in Microsoft Viva Learning, and improvements to the Text web part in SharePoint Online.

Important dates include the start of full enforcement mode for certificate-based authentication on Windows DCs in February 2025, and the retirement of the classic eDiscovery experience from August 1, 2025, to September 1, 2025.

Quickly access relevant information and functionality from the new home page—The home page has been redesigned with you and your most common tasks in mind—such as adding a user or resetting a password. The new admin center makes these items accessible directly from the home page. The home page also proactively surfaces information important to you, such as notifications from the Message Center.
