In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

Microsoft 365 Message center provided a weekly digest of Microsoft service updates from February 17, 2025, to February 23, 2025.

Major updates include the removal of the EEEU sharing permission from Microsoft OneDrive, the retirement of Sway from the Microsoft 365 Copilot app, and changes to M365 Copilot Chat with Link Safety.

Microsoft Search in Bing will be deprecated on March 31, 2025.

Microsoft OneNote will retire the “me@onenote” feature and app-only authentication for Microsoft Graph APIs.

Microsoft Viva Insights will be included in Microsoft 365 Copilot subscriptions starting mid-March 2025.

Updates to Microsoft SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365 admin center, Microsoft Purview, and Power Pages were detailed.

Several features and policies in Microsoft Teams will be updated, including location sharing settings, transcription policies, and new skin tone settings for emojis and reactions.

Microsoft Outlook will introduce new features and updates for iOS and Android.

Microsoft Purview will introduce new policy templates and increase policy creation limits.

Microsoft Copilot will add new contextual features in Edge.

Power Platform will introduce public preview for Power Fx Functions.

Yammer will rebrand to Viva Engage with domain changes.

A reminder about the deprecation of WSUS driver synchronization on April 18, 2025.
