Microsoft 365 Message center announced major updates and new features across Microsoft 365, Teams, Power Platform, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Outlook, Windows, Defender, and Viva, with many features reaching general availability between September and November 2025.

Key updates include certificate-based authentication changes on Windows domain controllers (September 2025), unified Teams app management (September 2025), and new AI-powered file previewers in Microsoft 365 Copilot for iOS (general availability by October 13, 2025).

New productivity features include Copilot for Sales in Outlook mobile (GA August 31, 2025), natural language data filtering in Power Apps (GA September 30, 2025), and enhanced form-filling with Copilot and smart paste (GA October 1, 2025).

Teams and Outlook are adding features such as collaborative annotation, offline attachment support, new accent colors, and smarter notification delivery, with most rollouts scheduled between September and November 2025.

SharePoint and Viva are introducing AI-powered content creation, site policy comparison, and audio briefings, with new admin and compliance tools rolling out from August to November 2025.

Some features have postponed releases or require admin review, such as time phasing in Dynamics 365 Project Operations and updates to user/group assignment views in the Admin Center
