Microsoft 365 Message center announced that Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps SIEM agents will retire, with no new agents configurable after June 19, 2025, and advised transitioning to unified APIs and SIEM solutions; rollout is paused.

Microsoft 365 Copilot in Word introduces Agent Mode, rolling out Nov 17, 2025–Jan 2026, enabling conversational content creation and editing; no admin action required.

Microsoft Defender Threat Intelligence will merge with Microsoft Defender and Sentinel by August 1, 2026; organizations must update licenses and transition before the deadline.

Dynamics 365 Customer Service will allow simulation of AI field prediction from Jan 23, 2026, and Microsoft 365 Copilot for Service will enable one-click case creation from Outlook emails starting Jan 1, 2026.

Microsoft 365 Copilot app for Windows will show a non-blocking “Update” button from Jan 2026; no admin action needed.

Microsoft Foundry will integrate with Purview for AI data management, with public preview mid-Dec 2025 and worldwide rollout mid-March 2026.

New Outlook for Windows will offer a customizable oversharing dialog for DLP, rolling out from Jan 2026, off by default.

Agent Mode in Excel for Windows and Mac rolls out mid-Jan to early Mar 2026, enabling natural language workbook interaction; no admin action needed.

Microsoft Purview Data Loss Prevention will decouple policy tips and email notifications for SharePoint and OneDrive, with rollout starting Feb 20, 2026, and GA in March 2026.

Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android will introduce Adaptive Front-of-Room Experience for Town Halls, rolling out Dec 2025–Feb 2026; requires Teams Rooms Pro license and device updates.
