In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

This is the 441th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Resume “Summary” from Microsoft 365 Copilot:

Microsoft 365 Message center announced major updates and new features across Microsoft 365 services, including Copilot, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Power Platform, and Purview, with many features rolling out from November 2025 through early 2026.

Key changes include SharePoint custom scripting disabled by default (mid-Jan 2026), Teams chat with anyone via email (global rollout Jan 2026), Copilot enhancements in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote, and new security controls in Purview and Defender for Office 365.

Several features are being retired or postponed, such as App Skills in Excel (Dec 2025), legacy SharePoint CDN domain (retired by late April 2026), and Microsoft Publisher support ending October 2026.

Important deadlines: Secure Boot certificates expiring June 2026, SharePoint legacy authentication blocked Jan 31, 2026, and Power Platform tenant isolation enforced Feb 2026.

Admins are advised to review and update configurations, policies, and documentation for new features, security changes, and upcoming retirements; some updates require no immediate action, while others may need preparation before rollout or enforcement dates.
