In a rapid change of Office 365, Microsoft sends to Tenant Admin’s the news about what is changing and what is coming in Office 365.

This is the 442th email that Microsoft has sent to Tenant Admin’s Newsletter with Office 365 changes.

Resume “Summary” from Microsoft 365 Copilot:

Microsoft 365 Message center announced major updates and new features across Microsoft 365, Teams, Copilot, Viva, Defender, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, and Windows, with many AI enhancements, security improvements, and admin controls rolling out between November 2025 and February 2026.

Key deadlines include the retirement of UKG and Blue Yonder connectors for Teams Shifts on December 7, 2025, new Exchange Online Message Trace cmdlets required by September 1, 2025, Secure Boot certificate expirations starting June 2026, and Sentinel account entity naming updates by July 1, 2026.

Important features launching soon include shared call history in Teams Queues (Jan–Feb 2026), Copilot voice and chat enhancements, new Copilot and agent management APIs, enhanced Copilot analytics, and security controls for Teams, Defender, and Purview.

Admins must prepare for changes such as unified Teams app management, new DLP controls in Edge, Intune Data Warehouse updates (Feb 2026), and workflow updates for Defender for Identity XDR transition (Dec 2025–Jan 2026).

Several features are enabled by default but may require admin review or configuration, such as Copilot integrations, Teams security settings, and new authentication options for Power Platform agents; some features require specific licensing or opt-in for preview access.

Unresolved issues include the need for organizations to transition from deprecated connectors, update Sentinel rules, review workflows for Defender and Purview, and prepare documentation and user training for new features and policy changes.
